The Story Behind Yvonne Meditation Place
Yvonne Meditation Place was born from a simple yet powerful idea—turning a house into a haven through the art of fragrance. Founded in 2018 by Jaiya Jones, the brand began as a personal journey, blending scents that evoked warmth, peace, and cherished memories. What started as a way to bring comfort into her own home soon became a heartfelt mission to help others create spaces of tranquility.
But the name "Yvonne" holds a much deeper meaning. It is Jaiya’s middle name, a tribute to her family and the legacy of love that shaped her life. The inspiration behind the store’s logo—a Limenitis arthemis butterfly—comes from the two women who meant the most to her: her grandmothers. From both her mother’s and father’s side, they played a profound role in her heart. Their passing was one of the hardest moments in her life, but on both occasions, a butterfly appeared, bringing her an unexplainable sense of comfort and peace. She took this as a sign that they were still with her, watching over her in spirit.
For Jaiya, the butterfly became more than just a symbol—it became a part of her soul. Its ability to fly freely and gracefully resonated deeply with her, reminding her that love, memory, and connection never fade. This is why she incorporated the butterfly into Yvonne Meditation Place—to represent transformation, healing, and the unseen presence of those we hold dear.
